This item is only for X370 chipset motherboards. It is interfacing directly with a CPU’s PCIe lanes – instead of using the PCH – for uncompromised performance. When it is equipped with two Samsung SM961 SSDs – this item is hitting over 6600MB/s sequential read speeds and almost 3000MB/s sequential write speeds. I honestly say that is impressive.

    Pretty neat, except they need to make it a single slot solution.
