Everything else runs fine, Talked with EVGA rep and said it should be compatible. But no luck on getting it to read in BIOS and Windows10.
It is seated correctly and properly.
It is a Crucial mx 300 275gb.
It does work for I just attached it to a m.2 usb adapter.
In BIOS m.2 key slot 3 is enabled.
I followed the Manual instructions carefully too.
My intel wifi card located on m.2 key slot 2 is working flawlessly.
I highly doubt this requires a drive for its Crucial.
Am I missing something? BIOS is at 1.07
Is it even compatible with this motherboard?

EVGA Micro z370
Windows 10

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

Actual link to the Crucial sites product page please.. google search with "Crucial mx 300 275gb" just brings up actual SATA drives for me and not an m.2 device

@mystilez That ^ and Below.
(The Crucial MX 300 is a Standard SATA SSD Drive) and make sure that you have set the Bios to AHCI for the SATA Mode. This will work but it is not a M.2 Drive.
Also the Crucial MX300 M.2 2280 525GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT525MX300SSD4 But both are standard SSD SATA III Drives.
The Crucial MX300 M.2 Drive Will Not Work on your Z370 Motherboard.
You need a NVMe M.2 Drive Like the Crucial P1 500GB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD - CT500P1SSD8 or Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD - CT1000P1SSD8 Drive

What is this Device "m.2 usb adapter"?

Leave off the http:// or https:// and you can post the rest. But need the part in front of the  .com
http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/ga-ax370-gaming-k5/CT10406956

Crucial MX300 275GB M.2 Type 2280SS Internal SSD
Interface:  SATA 6.0Gb/s This Dive is Not Going to Work on your Motherboard.

You can Only Use A NVMe M.2 Drive

Yes, Only NVMe M.2 Drives will work, the same also for the Z390 and X299 Motherboards from EVGA.
Also they support the Intel Optane Memory Drive but no one really uses them, I use the 32GB as my Swap Drive.
I got one as well, it now is my backup drive for my Dell A15 Laptop, if I will ever need it

Page 16 of the PDF -

10. M.2 Socket 3 Key - M 80mm
M.2 is an SSD form factor standard, which uses up to four PCIe lanes and utilizes Gen3 speeds. Most popularly paired with NVMe SSDs, this standard offers substantially faster transfer speeds and seek time than SATA interface standards. All M.2 devices are designed to connect via a card - bus style connector, secured by bolting into place, and powered by the connector rather than a dedicated data cable and power cable. This socket will support Key - M devices of 80mm, 60mm, and 42mm length. This connector can utilize only PCIe/NVMe - based M.2 SSDs or Intel® Optane NVMe devices

No mention of SATA based M.2 drives

LOL,, I was only trying to support what you had posted
And for whatever reason that quote was no easy copy paste from the browser opening of the manual (normally I down load them and open them with Adobe) - formatting was messed up and I used open office to fix it before I posted it. Probably would have been faster to have just saved it and opened it with adobe. Overall took away to long to post that simple quote
