I'm looking for a clip-on or stand mic that's fairly decent, not doing any professional recording or anything fancy like that, mostly discord and other voice chat stuff, that said I'm soft spoken and normally have mic boost and mic volume cranked up to max. and would like a mic that doesn't require that, and can filter out an AC unit in the room fairly well. Looking to spend $50ish or less.

btw this is because I'd like to use my headphones (HD700) while chatting, instead of a headset (PC 363d, good sounds but not as good as the HD 700, and the mic quality is eh)

If you have headphones you really love. Get a ModMic.

Avoid Zalman Zm-Mic1, that mic has zero noise canceling.

If only your HD 700 headphone didn't have a wire going to both sides, V-MODA BoomPro mic would of been perfect for you.
