Your suggestion about the 5000D is probably the best one and on the Corsair website it is currently marked down in price.

You can tell the case was made by a company that sells fans.

I've got the 5000X case with Corsair fans. A great combination and I like the Corsair iCUE software integration.

be quiet! Silent Base 802 and Pure Base 500DX are good options as well. Their build quality is quite good. I'm not personally a fan of the front aesthetic on the 500DX, but those two cases are their best for airflow, and airflow is what you'll need if you're looking at any new hardware.

Corsair 5000D looks good., this is mine is Big massive lot room to do whatever. LOL might be big but I love it. Aldo I removed top glass and front glass make airflow better which works. I am going to put mesh style on top and front since I think look better. will see. https://www.thermaltakeusa.com/view-71-tempered-glass-snow-edition.html

A case that supports 5.25 bay. That is rare these days.

I would consider checking the Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic Mid Tower or Full. Great case performance aesthetics cooling is a must case to have

The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. Have a look at the Phanteks Evolv X. Pictures can be seen in my Mods Rigs. I would not hesitate to do another build in the same case.

It’s the way I would have gone between the two. My system though needed to support EATX so I had to do a full tower.
