Pick up a pair in April for $US199. Somebody decided RGB mice and keyboards aren't enough. So now there are RGB speakers as well. The peak power is 240 watts so these might be very good speakers

    They won't be, Logitech does a lot of things but they aren't exactly audio-oriented as a company.

    Though this does look very similar in concept to the RGB Razer speakers that are also... not for an audiophile's ear.

    May be a distraction while gaming though.

    That depends. If you aren't distracted by RGB keyboards, RGB mice, RGB keyboards, RGB mousepads, and RGB headphone holders then this won't bother you.

    Only thing that's lighted is my keyboard. It's a dimmed orange, so that doesn't bother me. Brighter lights near the monitor might bother me though.

    What if they orient directional in fps games?   Color flash could tell you where the shot came from.
