I recently bought a EVGA GTX 1070 SUPERCLOCKED and i was wondering why IDLE tempertures stick beezwen 53 and 55°C and under load at 82-85°C. I tested A TON of possible problems and then while installing Precision software i noticed a message about logitech software. I thought to myself, what the hell, ill turn it off. 10 seconds after that, the idle temprature fell down to 40°C and 70°C under load, also the FPS in game (ME Andromeda and Witcher 3) rised for 5 to 10 FPS.

So while it does provide loads of nice custom stuff for my MX Master mouse, its not worh so much GPU power, which is surerly a bug and not a justified laod for the GPU.

I hope this helps many other gamers!!!

or you could just turn off 'enable enhanced graphics' in the softwares settings and it'll no longer use the gpu.

I have 0 issues with the Logitech gaming software can't vouch for this Logitech options software. But I do wish my g410 had built in memory like my mouse then there would be no reason to even have it start up

Not for me it is? I'm running the latest Logitech Options version 6.70.1204 and use it with the K400 Plus keyboard. I have not noticed any hit on GPU usage by the software?
I also have the Logitech Profiler version 5.10.127 for F310 and mostly F710. But have a paid install Xpadder version 2017.05.01 of which I more use to.

Must of been a user error, tons of people use Logitech mice and don't have a problem. Logitech make some of the best mice on the market.

This thread is a bit of an old cow, but apparently its still happening.
    Get a load of this;

21% use on an nVidia titanXp
    158MB of RAM in use
    5% use on a 6700k CPU

And its in the background, doing nothing.
    What the heck Logitech?
Are you making me lowkey bitmine or something??

What Logitech hardware are you using. I don't have that problem with Logitech gaming software with my G403 mouse.

Well for starters its not the gaming one, its 'logitech options', their (Deleted for Foul Language) office sibling.
Why they had to go and make a separate app for this mouse? Who knows..

I think I've found the culprit though; Its EVGA's very own 'Precision X oc' software!
As soon as I turn on the OSD feature, the logitech software starts gagging on something.
Could it be that, for some ungodly reason, EVGA precision thinks logitech is a game,
and is therefor trying to shove OSD stuff down its throat?
As soon as I turn off the OSD, logitech options calms down again,
    so its definitely related, somehow.

The Logitech gaming software that I have and others have seem to be a different program as the software my keyboard and mouse use uses up no resources other then a miniscule amount of ram. But it does seem you may have found the issue with a conflicting from evgas oc software

I did have to add Logitech Options to the PrecisionX Server of things to ignore list.
Edit: For me Precision was crashing Options when I opened Precision.

I haven’t really noticed a problem but know that in the past sometimes they do a bad update but it normally is quickly fixed. Also sometimes the website has newer software then the auto update feature.

Precision XOC seems to be causing a lot of conflicts with other programs. Corsair had to get involved to get evga to fix the conflict messing up Corsair Link software.

The newer LGS was causing me problems. I can't remember with what exactly, but my solution was to go back to 8.94.108 and disable updating options. It has ran flawless ever since. No sense in updating if it works well.

    8.83.85 version for me
the newer versions do not show the Logitech performance monitor on my G15 or G19 LCD  keyboard
but afterburner works and EVGA XOC sort of works if one can read the super small font.

I have used their wireless mice and corded keyboards for many year xp-vista-7-win 10 and no real problems.

the mice are NOT blutooth and that helps as i have 4  on my desk running at the same time

I bought MX Master before 2-3 weeks.
The worse mouse I had. I decide to sold him to guys who use only for surfing and video/audio editing and I reserved G900.
I tried G703 in apartment of my friend, fantastic mouse. It's remind me on Deathadder only more precise and Wireless.
Logitech never done such mistake as with MX Master and I think it's same with MX Master 2s.
    Back to G Mouse.
The worse tragic is because I don't need Macro buttons and I could play on rate 500 not 1000 and 1000-1500 dpi.
Because of that I don't need classig game mouse, but Logitech MX Master is worse in games than PS2 Office Mouse because Input Lag.
But my fate in Logitech is intact and G703, G305 are probably best option at the moment. Or G900/G903 who can afford.
In my country G900 cost 150 euro cheapest, up to 210 euro.
I buy him for 90 euro fabric sealed with warranty. Only for G900 I will have 1 year warranty.
For MX Master I have 3 years, 36 months. I don't know how but invoice say that.

Just in Case if I don't like G900 because shape, I will switch from him to G703, for him I'm sure could be nice successor of my G700.
Not such nice shape but perfect mouse.
Looks like people who play games no matter how much, should stay with Logitech G mouse.
It's easier for them to surf, than professional mouse to be used in games.
That mean back on G Software, MX Master not use him.

Glad to see it wasn't the Logitech gaming software.   I have found their equipment works best and lasts longest for me.

Logitech Gaming Software is great and nice theme.
But MX Master have some Option Software. You can change sensitivity and that's it.
No DPI change, didn't start with Windows, nothing.
Now I'm back on gaming software.
First thing I done is disable RGB LED on mouse to.
I saw new Firmware for my Mouse, 1.4.22 > 1.5.23
But I didn't had special desire to change firmware and screw something.
