Today I realized that my GPU has three liquid stains on the top. I haven't cleaned it in 3 months so it has a layer of dust that allowed me to notice these stains. The issue is that I don't know where they come from, since the top of my case has fans, dust filter and also I never put anything liquid near my case.

The upper stain is where I passed my finger to know what it was and it feels like some kind of oil. I have no idea what this could be, I hope any of you can help me, please.

Thanks for your time people.

It's from the oily substance of the thermal pads used on the card. Its harmless and normal. Can be removed with some 91% isopropyl alcohol and a qtip or paper towel.

Yeah, you can clean it up but it's going to come right back until he replaces the thermal pads with newer ones... Cause they will continue to sweat onto the backplate.

It's also worth pointing out it does not conduct electricity and will in no way harm the card.

If you do try to remove it like said above you would want to of course remove the card from the case but as said below expect it to come back. It's perfectly normal though.
