Led Sync button blacked out

I have an evga 280 clc in my system, the default white leds are on but when I open XOC the led sync button is blacked out and so is the appearance led option in the settings menu. Not sure what to do, I tried looking up a solution but I didn’t see many people having the same issue.

    You should be using Flow Control software to change the LED color on the CLC 280. If you have a compatible EVGA graphics card you should be able to use the LED sync option as well, what graphics card are you using?
