Little funny story,
Last year i asked my wife for an EVGA RTX 2070.
She told me its too expensive. This at the beginning of July last year.
She went back to China in August, to help with her sisters wedding, and to visit with family and was gone for 2 months.
Celebrated my Birthday (August 18th.) with my mom and son. no gifts from my wife as she was gone.
She came home and things got back to normal.
Fast forward to August 2020, she asks what i want for my birthday (yesterday), i tell her same as last year.
She says loudly.. Ohh!! and goes upstairs.
She comes down and says... honey dont be upset but i forgot your gift from last year.
I say its ok.
She goes around the corner to the stairs and brings me an EVGA RTX 2070 XC Ultra.
Caught me so far off gaurd that i couldnt get my words out without messing them up!
I told her im very happy with the gift, but warranty is 3 years if i can register it, but one year without.. Warranty is already expired, and its not even been used yet.
We both laugh wildly! It was so darn funny!
Even more funny, i get the same gift 2 years in a row, but only receive it now!
