I don't use twitter, but I was sniffing around Randy Pitchford's tweet to search for some Gold key codes for Borderlands 3 when I noticed a tweet about him mourning a friend.   Somebody mentioned a Landon and I found a Landon Montgomery was the co-founder of Gearbox?
 
Worked on Halo Combat Evolved and Half-Life among many others.     Half-Life would be in my list of top 10 games over 38 years of gaming that makes me understand that a game can be true art, and not just a game.

    Surprised to hear he was only 46. I remember first seeing a Gear Box game being the Half Life expansion Blue Shift which was like 20 years ago. He got a very young start to co-found a studio but I am sure he would be proud of where Gearbox is now. RIP.
