Have you tested BF4 servers hosted by different Game Server Providers? GSP hosts like gameservers.com are known to overload machines. Back when i played BF4 a lot, the top BF4 community servers were hosted by nfoservers.com.

Have you tried using software like WinMTR to see if it's internet issue?

Ever since they started fiddling with their netcode from the initial outrage of before ,- it has never been great.
Constant readjustments over the years, trying to get it good,  but none has worked well at all.

They should just scrap the internals of the netcode from the engine & rewrite from scratch - but yeah- that's never going to happen.

Test using different BF4 server you play on IP address.

Try playing on one of TBGclan BF4 server below. See if you notice less yellow/orange warnings.

    https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/74.91.125.143:25200/
    https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/192.223.30.187:47200/
(both servers are host on a managed full machine from nfoservers.com)

    You don't.

I get those error icons all the time as well. Most of the time they are completely false except the server icon.

Are you playing on a server in your region?
BF1 seems to have official servers and BF4 has private and game servers. look for a bf4 server in your region and that states its a 60Hz server. Also look at the servers ping.

Also try setting your PC to a static IP, look up what router settings should be adjusted for the game ( Port forwarding and NAT settings).
    Ports: 443, 9988, 17502, 20000-20100, 22990, 42127
Leave port 80 alone, most ISPs use that.

    Are you playing on Wifi?
My computer is on WiFi but I parsed out the 2.4 and 5GHz bands to broadcast on their own SSIDs to re-ensure my computer is on the 5GHz.

never mind the typo in line one for the ports. But it can look something like this. I set my router to use the ports and my VLAN to use the ports via the router ( but I have a fancy router).
so where I have 192.168.73.1 you would replace that with your computer's new Static IP
You will see I used 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for my DNS, its googles DNS and not my ISPs DNS. It works a bit better for me. Google what google DNS server would work best for you in your area of the world. or just set it to your router's IP address and leave field two blank.

The supplied routers should have a sticker on them with their IPs and login info. You can google the model number too to find out. Or

Go to network settings, select your LAN connection and select details. Your IP will be displayed there. The router will be at ###.###.###.1 or sometimes .99

Post your router model here so we can help a bit more.

You will see a lot more warning markers if you play on 60hz BF4 server.
