Are you playing on a server in your region?
BF1 seems to have official servers and BF4 has private and game servers. look for a bf4 server in your region and that states its a 60Hz server. Also look at the servers ping.
Also try setting your PC to a static IP, look up what router settings should be adjusted for the game ( Port forwarding and NAT settings).
Ports: 443, 9988, 17502, 20000-20100, 22990, 42127
Leave port 80 alone, most ISPs use that.
Are you playing on Wifi?
My computer is on WiFi but I parsed out the 2.4 and 5GHz bands to broadcast on their own SSIDs to re-ensure my computer is on the 5GHz.
never mind the typo in line one for the ports. But it can look something like this. I set my router to use the ports and my VLAN to use the ports via the router ( but I have a fancy router).
so where I have 192.168.73.1 you would replace that with your computer's new Static IP
You will see I used 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52 for my DNS, its googles DNS and not my ISPs DNS. It works a bit better for me. Google what google DNS server would work best for you in your area of the world. or just set it to your router's IP address and leave field two blank.
