changes are coming just got the X58 rewind contest prize today so the Z270 Classy K and 7700K will be getting swapped out for the X299 Dark and 7740K

Nice rig and keeping things at default for a week to test out is what I recommend. Normally I do 72 hours at default but often it goes longer before I have time to really see what I can do but now days I am not as overclock crazy as I once was since overclocking I feel has been about higher benchmarks then making a game more playable.

I don't know why the DG 87 gets such a bad rep as an ugly case. I personally love it and if not for build budget and space I would have selected that for my case. Great looking build.

Sorry I didn't say that I just added my first custom water loop to the build I just updated a pic. I didn't think it would be right to post a new thread with the new parts that I have put on this 3 year old build. I thought it would keep the fourm clean and no cross contamination as its still the same system with some new upgrades
