Years back, in high school I started writing, but never finished that novel. Now older, Im writing again. Anyone write? Note, Knightsilver is the name of that novel, started somewhere in 1988....

I wrote some short stories. My son however writes and has a bigger income than I do. (RATS!) He publishes off of Amazon as an e-novel. I think he made around 120K last year before taxes. Probably 1k after.

I take it if I asked where you got your username from, I could guess the answer now? Anyway creative writing was always my worst subject. Always felt I just had to "Be creative" instead of inspirations or ideas to really work off of. If I had to do school over again I might be able to manage that part a bit better, with a little more understanding of inspiration that I have now. Still can't say I have a talent for it, but maybe that's why it's interesting to me now.

Wife writes more fancy/RPG stuff, I write more scifi/tech/history based fiction. Think Knight of the Round Table, Timelords, Dragons vs Spaceships, Sherlock Homes, Star Trek meets Kung Fu, Tinkerbell vs The Hulk, Cowboy flying a P51 in WW2, and a team of heroes from the spae-age future get trapped in the Dark Ages, So something like Power Rangers vs Merlin kind of spoof, but not....
