Just curious if anyone sees >500w on their Kingpin with the ln2 bios. Highest I've seen is around 485 in Timespy Extreme. This is with 100mv/100core/1000 ram.

Is it possible to tell which version of the bios you're running in windows? I haven't seen my power go beyond 450 on the LN2 switch.

How do you know that's what you were running other than flipping the switch?  GPUz looking at the bios number?
    Mine is showing: 94.02.42.C0.0C

Which doesn't show up on Tech Power's DB  VGA Bios Collection | TechPowerUp

Open GPUZ, go to the Advanced Tab.. Choose Nvidia BIOS from the drop-down. That will show build number, power limits etc..

Ah yeah there we go.  Mine is limited to 520.  I wonder if I'm just on the XOC rather than LN2 bios.  Just to be sure, a newer bios hasn't been released right?

    KP default Bios(es):
    LN2 - 520w
    OC - 480w
    Default - 450w

EVGA has updated all 3 with ReBAR support. - do it through Precision X1

All of those bioses are limited and have protection enabled.. The 520w XOC and 1000w KP Bioses do not.

XOC BIOS is greater than LN2 BIOS.  You are probably "just on" the LN2 BIOS rather than the XOC BIOS.  Why does EVGA call the default limited overclocking BIOS a LN2 BIOS?  Good question.  Confusing, huh?

Seems like you would know if you're on the KP XOC bios since it has to be flashed manually AFAIK.

Ty, just flash the 1kw bios to the LN2 slot and then it will be labeled correctly. Lol

Where do you get the 1k bios?  Is that the one where you email Vince?

Ah that's what I've got on my card still then, so I'm just running stock.  Makes sense why I haven't seen over 500 since you rarely hit the power limits.

So learned something neat, you can change the bios that's running without rebooting.  The card will tell you on the OLED that it's changed the bios.  Pretty sweet!

I'm getting a max of 565 watts while in Port Royal.

Where can I download the xoc bios?  I think I'm getting power limited.

I don't think that is true. I think that the card can tell you which BIOS is selected, but I don't think that the new settings are used without a reboot.

I very frequently hit the 520W power-limit when playing modern games @ 4k. Need an official 600W+ bios that is gaming-optimized and doesn't void warranty.

I don't think that is true. I think that the card can tell you which BIOS is selected, but I don't think that the new settings are used without a reboot.

I didn't think it would work either... and was rebooting between checking the power limits of each bios and only flipping the switch when off.  Then thought I'd do it while it was on and WOAH!  A transition graphic popped up that shows a unique gif depending on which switch you move to, and it says Activated OC or Activated LN2.

So going back into GPUz all of a sudden the power limits had changed to match whatever setting I was on.  So I went from booting off the stock bios, to the LN2 with a switch flip without rebooting, then ran a benchmark and was pulling 565 watts.
