I just built a new pc with the following specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
ab350 Gaming 3 motherboard
2x8Gb of Ram 3000Mhz
Gtx 760 ti (second-hand)
EVGA PSU 600W
Considering the current GPU pricing situation I decided to buy a cheap graphics card that I could plug my monitor in until the prices settle down or maybe until the new generation of Nvidia comes out.
The system is working fine, I ran memtest64, windows memory checker, windows driver verifier, Cinebench and there were no issues. I can play League of Legends at 150+ fps, but the issue that I'm having is when entering a game in CS:GO - as soon as I enter a map the screen goes white for 1-2 seconds and the PC reboots, in some rare cases this doesn't happen, but it will happen on the next map load.
Looking in the Even Viewer there is the Kernel-Power error(event 41, task category 63) which is not very useful - just saying that the PC restarted unexpectedly. I cannot see any other events in that period that could give a better indication of what happened.
Searching on the Internet, most people say that it is a problem with the PSU, some say it could be because of the audio drivers(which I tried reinstalling), issues with memory(both sticks passed all the tests). It seems so unusual to me that I can play LoL fine without any issues, I haven't yet tried to play any other games than the two mentioned.
What are you opinions on this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
