Has anyone tried running the xoc bios yet on the OC bios switch position on the stock cooler?

Yes, it works well. Make sure you read the guide and keep the voltages in the safe range

Neato. Tbh if I run the xoc bios it'll just be to appreciate any differences. I'd like to see my games running at 2100+. Currently on siege I hover between 2035/2050

I doubt that is from the power limit.. more like a heat limit. What's your temps?

51c max after 3hrs continuous play.

2035/2050 at full stock settings on the card across the board.

The xoc should unlock a lil extra I'd think. I'd really just like a more stable mem OC without having g to adjust the CT tool each time I power on

After watching Steve's ln2 stream and Jay's recent demo, I'm happy where im at on ambient :).

To maximize, what fans do y'all think are unequivocally the best for the rad in push pull? I'm using Corsair MLs now

Updating the OC or Normal Bois with the LN2 Bios only gives up full fan speeds and nothing more.
The LN2 Bios is NOT the XOC Bios.

If your using the corsair ML120s in there now stick with them. And double them up for push/pull if your not.

Those have pretty high static pressure at 4.2 mm H2O. Pull fans might be loud so use a thick fan shroud to quiet them over 1/4" thick. 1/2" thixk would be good.

The ln2 bios flashed to the OC switch position is what I'm using which allows one to ran the fans at max. So I have the card fan at 100% which now you can hear it over the normal max of 84% and the same for the rad fans.. but I've always just had all 4 of my corsair sp120 hp fans plugged into the mb and them all set to max.

You don’t need more than 2100 MHz or so for games. Even if you flashed the XOC BIOS there’s no feasible way you could maintain low enough temperatures over time to justify its use for just gaming. If anything just move the LN2 to the OC position.

Yeah I discovered that actually. I do t think it would have any gains. Somehow things clicked into place today and I'm running well into the high 300s into 400s in watts on the cards OLED screen. She's perking up now. CT tool works magic once you do it right. I'm sitting at 2145+/- across all benches and games on ambient
