KFC was forced into closing many of its restaurants in the UK after it ran out of chicken. Branches in Bristol, Berkshire, Cheshire, Devon, Newcastle, Suffolk and Surrey were all affected by an issue with the chain's new delivery partner. Link Sounds like a total fowl up. The chickens have stopped clucking. The cluck stops here.

Used to run out of cheese at the pizza place I worked at. It was mind blowing to customers.

The Yum Company and PepsiCo have ran alot of great stores into the ground, you just cant teach stupid is, stupid does to Corporate trying to run a kitchen with no kitchen skills... http://www.yum.com/company/ If yall knew what I know, yall wouldnt eat 2/3's of whats out their, at least in the States "USA"

Good. KFC is especially disgusting, but im just glad another fast food restaurant is down the drain.... I hope.

I was just going to mention this. Yeah their apology strategy was gutsy but apparently the response was mostly amazing. (Google "KFC apologizes" in case you missed it.)

Reminds me of something. We had a pizza place opened nearby about 10 years ago. So, my family and I went there to check it out. We sat down, took the menus, chose the pizza, and called back a waiter. When we began talking, she interrupted us and said:
"Oh, you want pizza? I'm so sorry, but we are out of dough! But we have loads of salad!"
Hasn't come back there since.

My last move was to a small town 60 miles from nowhere. I had 3 fast food restaurants, McD, DQ, and KFC to choose from and a couple of cheap all-you-can buffets. What else does one need? (other than cholesterol pills)?
I've always been a regular at KFC, Original Recipe please !
Sadly, urban nirvana has been following me and after a Walmart opened which sells whole roasted chicken, and chicken tenders by the shovel full, a Chick-fil-a, and a Zaxby's Chicken. The KFC turned belly-up and is now a Dunkin Donuts selling $2 donuts by the box to the college students who just take out another gov't loan to pay for it.
There's still a KFC in a town about 20 miles away, and I try to remember to get a bucket of Original whenever I pass thru.
