Not sure about the kit, would have to reassemble the card with block again and atm using stock cooler since again, still using old case and it doesn't fit enough rad etc. That also aside, I can't even buy the OLED kit in here which really sucks cause I also wanted to use it. In super position I get 42C or 43C or so after 5 hours, then again I am running 1200rpm push/pull cause I can't stand loud fans but I want the best temps so... many rads it is lol.

I also wanted to get that case (phateks 719 ethoo) but I can't get hold of it where I live in eu and it was much easier (+ cheaper) to get the o11d XL so I got that, just need to wait a week or two to get it cause its going to be available in a few days here + shipping.

No worries. I want to do push pull on stock radiator with 4 3000 rpm fans but they get to be loud lol!

I have 2 TX480 xspc rads and 1 xspc tx360 rad after I took the ftw3 out of my loop I left my 2 480s to cool my 9900k and honestly it didnt do much different with out gpu in the loop for temps at 5.1ghz.

Yeah, if you are not doing bare die cooling it won't get much better because of the poor soldering and IHS. I seen people drop up to 15C with die cooling but usually 8-10C.

I can imagine how loud they get but not sure it would be worth those ~3C difference between my setup at full blast vs that lol. Anyway sorry to the OP for going off topic.

Also a guy here, Ahowes has 2x 480 EK XE and 2x 360 EK XE at push/pull, full speed (probably big overkill). He gets 32-33C on his KP during RTX gaming after 1hour even, never goes above 33C in any scenario he tried. He tried to get lower temps but seems like the block itself (he has EVGA HC KP) is holding him back. That wast 72f I think (so 22C) room temp, water temp was at room temp according to him so he has like 11 or 12C delta between water and gpu die which imho is a bit too high for a WB. To add to this, I put my spare 1070 Ti with EK block on water in meantime for fun and some OC (got a 1080 block on discount, half the price) I get 8C delta between water and GPU temp.

I know the tx480s and tx360 dont have best thermals but I run my fans around 2000rpms its livable with headphones. Pump I had to set at full tilt.

I'll try the bykski in a few weeks, my 10980xe wont be here for awhile, so I'll keep the aio on and enjoy it when my 3950x arrives.

I think the echo chamber on how good these cards are drowns out the ones that were alright but not great.

When you're paying that much, 2160 should be the bottom of the bin without further cooling.

I have my 2080 ti kingpin overclocked core +25 and mem +1100. Call of duty modern warfare keeps randomly crashing. dx error 6068. This card is over rated  over priced crap. my msi lightning z 2080 ti clocks more than this card and is stable what the hbell is going on with this **** card

I guess that is your opinion and maybe try theses fixes I have had issues with 6068 issue doing most of these fixes have taken care of it. I did the 1,4,6,7 I know for a fact afterburner, PX1 and other overlays wont allow game to load.

If MW: You can try and fix this error by make the following changes.

  • Turn off Nvidia overlay through Geforce experience
  • Set game to Windows borderless
  • Set refresh rate and FPS limit to match my monitors
  • Made sure you have latest Windows Update
  • Turn off GPU overclock and reverted back to stock clocks
  • Turn off XBOX Game Bar
  • Turn off RTX
  • Turned off MSI Afterburner and all other overlay apps
  • Set game to HIGH CPU PRIORITY on Task Manager
  • Set particles setting to Low

It's not the card.  It's OC stability and every game has it's own liking.  You need to find a slower OC that gets along with everyone.  Completely different from going balls off the wall on benchmarks which the GPU is designed for.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:
