I have been on since September of 2021 and still waiting for a 3090 (), to be honest I just want any 3090. As for the subject at hand, how has your experience been with the queue system. Got to get some reputation built up for this 3.0 system

Signed up for a 3090 Kingpin and a 3080 ftw Hybrid in Dec of 2020 .Got to purchase the Kingpin in May 2021,am still waiting on the 3080 Hybrid notify.The forums suggest I will never get the 3080 Hybrid because EVGA is pushing the 3080Ti and 3080 12GB models .Best advice is become a Elite member and sign up for the 4090 Kingpin.The Kingpin I have is a kick ass gpu.I game at 120HZ 4k and just max every game and have never been above 55 Celsius on gpu.Only complaint about card is the cheap fans on the radiator ,a $2200 dollar gpu should have premium fans.

I have gotten a few. One 3090 FTW3 Ultra, which was my first and got me Elite status, then I got a couple 3080 Ti cards and a 3070 Ti. Then my 3090 Kingpin came through just recently. I have 3 gaming PCs in my house and a media room, VR PC hooked up to my main TV.
 
I made mistakes on OG 3080 launch day as I only queued (it wasn't even a thing at the time) for the XC3 Black. I wanted an MSRP RTX 3080. Oh was a sweet child I was.
 
Since then I got smarter and realized getting cards was akin to a second job. I've gotten some cards through the Newegg shuffle, a couple prebuilts and from the EVGA queue. I have built PCs for some family and friends and have the 4 in my house.
 
I don't want to rub salt, but if you wanted cards and put some effort into researching strategies and a multi-way effort to get them then you would have had some. If you picked a low priority queue from EVGA, got your spot in line and then just waited for the magic day then you might not have any 30 series cards. 

I got my step-up 3080 FTW3 Ultra it took 280 days total, then in the middle of my step-up and I missed it apparently a 3080 TI FTW3 Ultra popped that I had signed up for when they launched and missed buying one.=( Still need a video card for my wife's pc. Have friends who signed up for a 3080 FTW3 Ultra back in February 2021 and they still have not had their queue pop.

I got my 3080Ti 4 months after entering the EVGA Elite Member queue day 1.  I was 3 hours late entering the queue because the site kept crashing and I had to go to work.  So 3 measily hours on day 1 of launch turned into a 4 month wait!

If you chose any 3090 XC3 or a FTW3 Gaming instead of an FTW3 ultra, youa re going to be waiting a very long time.  They are produced in much much smaller number than the FTW3 Ultra or not at all.  
 
If most of the GPUs EVGA gets form Nvidia are good enough for an FTW3 Ultra, there is no financial reason for EVGA to product lower tier/lower priced models.

I got in the que for the 3070 xc3 ultra gaming 1 week after launch. Received the card in April of last year. Submitted it for Step up to the 3080 FTW3 and received notification and was able to purchase in December. meanwhile when the 3060 launched, was able to get into the que for it on launch day, and was called to purchase it in November. So the Que system does work, but you have to be actively aware of launch dates and getting in on the que's. I think overall, EVGA has done a really good job of trying to get products out to their customers. It's just that they have a LOT of customers.

well , I didn't really waited, sign up and forget about it.
By september , local stores get their shelf full anyway, amd and nvidia. Local pickup only, no shipping. So yeah, bought a card before getting my EVGA.
As this date, they still have many in stock at canadien msrp (taxes + exchange rate). a 3060 running around 740$cad, and 3060ti around 940$ cad.

If you are going for a 3090 and signed up in September 2021 a year into the queue, I would sign up for the 3090Ti and try to get in on day one. I of course would also look at the prices of these cards and what my current setup is.

Yes, Nvidia decided to have a quiet/no notice release and both SKUs were only open for a short time.
 
They will probably open again eventually.

I was not in dire need though.  I just ordered a mountain mods case,  I plan on building a new computer slowly hopefully by 2025 heheh

I got my 3090 ultra today from the queue, took about 9 months I think.

I got my 3080 FTW Ultra from the queue.  I also got an "I Survived The Queue" shirt a few weeks ago.
