Is this yellow piece in my power supply supposed to be bent like this?

I have an evga g3 and I’ve noticed this yellow piece is bent. Is this abnormal? picture

    Most likely not a issue. If you opened it up you'd see other filters and protection components bent every which way,some have hot glue, plastic dividers etc... just depends on the oem and design. If you dont know anything about electronics/electricity PLEASE dont open the unit or try to though, we dont want to read about you being killed by a voltage offload.If your having issues with it just rma.

    I won't be opening it up as I do not have the experience. I have tried to find pictures of tear downs for this 850w G3 unit, along with other pictures across the internet, I just couldn't find a comparable bend on that part in any photos. Of course I'm sure the reviewer/teardown samples are pretty pristine examples. Do you have a G3 unit?

    Every component doesn't get installed exactly level during assembly/soldering..So yeah, that's normal, not uncommon.

    Naw, i have a g5 850 but it doesnt matter, like bob just said components that are larger and have legs especially dont always sit anywhere near level, thats just how rapidly built pcb's are. Your ok, frag on.
