Hi. I oced my 2080 ti Aorus , mem 900+ and boost from 1695mhz stock to 1780mhz but crashing in fire strike gpu test 2 sometimes.
So turned to 1770mhz and the same. I cant be stable on that test even on 1770mhz clock. ( Of course real is 2055-1980mhz in 3d )
So first using was Msi Afterburner ,fan 100%,power limit max, temp limit max, voltage maxed +100.

But my voltages was fluctuating a lot.
Sometimes on test 2055mhz real clock when temp was 46C, voltage was 1.0920 but sometimes it drops to 1.520v.
Even if the temp is 35-45C sometimes its 1.0500V and sometimes properly 1.0820v or 1.0920.

I tested Evga Precision X1 but the same. Aorus Engine was even not giving any voltage difference. Maybe should i try the oldest Aorus Engine?
My bios is updated F3. Or maybe bios is programmed so bugy?

GPUZ showing VREL. So i am not hitting temp or pwr limit.

    Specs of your PC ?

    PSU & age ?

Are your using two separate Power cables to your GPU or just 1 with the double end ?

Test with your MB & RAM @ stock - could be a little unstable.  If you just upgraded GPU --there is No guarantee that your past OC will work with the new GPU

Did you do a "Clean Boot"

What is Running in the Background ?

Win 10 has XBox DVR on by default --- resource Hog -- Kill it

Kill all those live tiles ........   Nothing but what is required will give you the best score & stability

Gpu is stable on 1760mhz even without increasing voltage. So whats the point of voltage +100 even if its fluctuating like crazy and its not stable on 1770mhz?

Also running Evga X1 Precision monitoring OSD but that doesnt matter.

OSD is a know stability issue ... You do not need it while benchmarking

Ok after moment i update specs. Take a break. So yes on 1800mhz ( +105 ) i am definitely not stable with osd or not osd.
But it crashed like never before on 1780 ( +85 ) with i was running OSD ( from Afterburner ).
Now testing without osd, so it can be now ok again?

Question about voltages. Is this normal?

Yes Normal to see Volts vary as the Load Varies

Nvidia Boost 4.0 is a fixed part of the hardware - Controls Max MHz, Watts, Volts

The card is supposed to only draw enough power to allow the best OC within the algorithms parameters.

Your MB / RAM OC may be unstable

Some MB have an "Auto OC" feature & they will change the BCLK to improve performance.   However this also OC the PCIe lanes & can cause stability issues -- check your MB ---> (web search some MB Never report the BCLK manipulation)

Optimized vs. Cheating: Z390 Motherboard BCLK Comparison

    -------------------------------------------------
[Test 1]--- Remove All OC of MB & manually set RAM timing & Volts -- do nor use XMP setting to Auto OC the RAM - Run your GPU with sliders set Full for Temp & Power Targets - you can set Volts to Max also if you wish.   Do Not Add anything to the RAM or GPU clocks ---Run Test -- Results ?

    --------------------------------------------------------------

You never answered --> Are your using two separate Power cables to your GPU or just 1 with the double end ?

PSU age ?  You need to supply stable power to the PC for best stability.

i have good 3dmark scores and cpu scores are fine i dont think its a issue with mobo/psu .

I would change to 2 separate Cables ---> it is Proven to Improve stability - may times

Hey it is Up to You ---> Does the Card run Stable with the OC removed from your MB --> it is a Basic test to Focus on the stability of the GPU

The only other Option I can offer is test Card in a different PC

I make a curve that always will be 1.0920v in load. Its ok too? And its more stable now

So starting at 2070mhz 1.0920 temps go to max 72C and stay in 2010 mhz :)

But one time i dont know why test loaded with 50-60fps range , bug? I had chrome opened, and thats all. GPU LOAD was 99% and clocks was fine. But was 60fps instead of 150-200fps. Anyway now its fine. So no worry?I dont damage anything?

benchmarks that curve dont working because hitting power limit.
In games is VREL and curve working. Any idea ?

Vrel is normal - doesn't mean anything is wrong

Are you still using the stock cooler or are you using a hybrid or full loop?

    stock cooler

with locked voltage gpuz showing pwr in timespy and unigine. Clocks bouncing between 1890-1950 with random voltages like 1.350 , 1.500 ,1.230 ,1.550 etc.

In games i have normal 2020-2050 , 1.920v and gpuz showing vrel. I am using voltage curve in MSI A

If the card is boosting over what the advertised clocks are with the stock cooler I am not sure what more you want - nvidia's gpu boost 4.0 pretty much runs everything (core clocks and voltage) and is highly dependent on temps - core and VRM

i ask because locking at constant voltage in games working. Have 2050-2020 mhz clock and voltage 1.930v. Gpuz showing VREL.
But the same not working in timespy or superposition.
Clocks are fluctuating like this: 1920-2010,etc etc and voltages fluctuating too. Gpuz showing pwr.

When i dont use voltage curve its fine even in timespy or superposition. So that curve messing when i am using benchmarks but not games.

    ps:
I made a oc scanner and using that scanned curve and its better now but voltage still fluctuating in time spy.

But my scores are decent anyway in timespy:) 15600 points :)gpu score
