Is the T2 model considered end of life? If I buy one on Amazon is it old?

I am looking into a PSU upgrade and already have the EVGA individually braided cable kit. So I figured why not just buy a compatible PSU that has the proper rating.

I was looking at the 1000w T2 on Amazon. Are these units still okay to buy or have they stopped manufacturing them a long time ago?

I wouldn't want a PSU from 2017 that sat in a warehouse for years.

They are still listed on EVGA's site so they can't be discontinued. Anything that is discontinued will NOT be listed on their page so you should be safe.
