What do you think about the EVGA'S Queue system? Do you think its a good way to kind of control things a little bit instead of it being BOT VS BOT VS BOT VS Human?(Amazon, Newegg). Or do you think they should do something like Bestbuy an have stock slowly drip for purchase.?

I think its a fairly good system, Amd direct you just sit there and refreshing till you maybe get lucky and are able to place an item in cart or get blacklisted for refreshing to many times. Bestbuy and micro center seem to do the first come first serve in store which if you have the time to go up there and wait is not a bad deal.....maybe a little hectic. I like to think of EVGA as hey we know you have to work/sleep/parent/whatever so sign up and we will call your ticket when its ready.
I gave up on newegg/amazon. Amazon just sell scalper cards and Newegg will unload unwanted stock items as bundles to increase there sale.

But in all seriousness I like EVGA the best out of every option out there. i planned an hour at all the announced drops to F5 and get into the queue and I wait. my cards will come. its not a if, its a when.
newegg shuffle is a cash crab joke. They sell you a 1080p monitor with a 3080 when EVERY expert says 3080 and 1080 will reverse bottleneck.
AMD is okay- I have scored a few times but mostly its a crap shoot. I like that the website doesn't get all crashy
Best buy is a joke. waiting for inventory and please wait all the time every time. and then they cancel the 2 orders I did manage. I strongly believe bots score huge
amazon is good if you like adrenaline rush that ends with disappointment.
ANTonline is as bad as newegg unless you are doing a total build and want xbox game pass/ its like franks red hot- they put that **** on everything

The issue with the EVGA Queue system is they allocate so few cards for it every week that the queue moves very slowly.  When I looked at the info form people tracking the queue, some people who signed up for cards in November of 2020 or earlier still haven't received them.  It took me 6 months to get one of my cards after signing up in the queue because I missed the launch day window due to work.

I'm very glad for it. Managed to get a 3070 ti ftw3 for myself (also got notify for a 3060, but I let that one go) and in a queue (I suspect it might be a month or so as I am at 9:29am pst) for the 3070 ti xc ultra for my bf. Then we'll finally be done with all of this. But all in all.. it has been the most fair out of them all.

It's about the only one out there , so it's the best we got... BUT...
they definitely could be way better by dedicating a larger portion of the cards to people on the lists instead of sending so much to other retail sites who are doing nothing about the bots buying them all up. .

It would be good if there were more consistent and regular drops, especially with EU that mostly does not have any drops.

But overall, I have doubts as even in NA, EVGA still is stuck on release-day or thereabouts orders.

With demand so high for GPUs the EVGA queue seems to be the only way. You just have to be very patient over a long period of time.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

If there was one queue i would say yes, but as I am from Europe and the 3060 queue has yet to reach the people which signed up in the first minute, and the US queue is more than 1 day ahead, i am pessimistic about it.

I started using Nvidia GPUs when i coupled a Riva (i believe 128) with my Diamond Monster 3DFx Voodoo II. (I am not a fanboy, I don't care). I have only used ATI Radeon once.

Years ago, it was impossible for me to buy an EVGA product because out of US shipping. As soon as that shipping option was available through Amazon or other stores i started buying EVGA products  (i believe GTX680 was the first one).  It is 2021 i look nowhere else other than EVGA.  In short, NVIDIA = EVGA for me.

I like the queue system, but still I believe 100 forum posts and twitch stuff (whatever it is) is not a correct approach for loyal customers like me (and we have loyal EVGA customers in here who bought 10 times more products than i did). As i already wrote this in another topic, i prefer kind of Upgrade your GPU separate waitlist approach where we can select single product to waitlist with a priority as an EVGA Product user. It is like step up with its own queue, but for buying whole new product.

I also believe when this shortage will end most of those ELITE status will disappear, so not a good method of increasing followers, audience, customer numbers etc. but good for saving the day and reducing the headache.  Of course just my opinion

It is imperfect and could certainly be improved upon - but what system isn't?  I'm surprised that EVGA hasn't taken to heart some of the constructive suggestions people have made to make it better, BUT it is by far the best system that I've seen any tech company use to deal with the current situation, and I'm grateful that they're doing what they can.  It shows that they care about making the people who actually use their products happy more than they care about simply making a quick buck, which is more than I can say about most tech companies these days.

Well, the only way i was able to get a card without paying more than i should for one was through this queue. So yea it was a good way. I dont know if they plan to drop any new cards in the 30xx series (like a 30xx super) so it might not be the best way now since most cards have dropped, but its still a better system than maybe winning a shuffle or paying scalper prices.

it was great in theory until they opened up the "100 posts in our forum for elite status" approach which kneecapped the program and flooded this place with spam as people climbed their way to 100 posts.
