Hi all,

This is going to be my very first build, I'm very new to this hobby, so I'm sorry if this is an obvious question.

Is the EVGA CLC 280 compatible with an i7 8700K CPU?

The EVGA CLC 280 fits Intel processor sockets "LGA2066/2011/2011-v3/1150/1151/1155/1156/1366 and upcoming variants" (see the specs)..An Intel i7-8700K is a socket 1151 processor..Yes, it will fit/work.

Good luck with your build.
