That is the card That I am running with a Heatkiller block.
You will still be power limited, BIOS flashing is an option though.

What bios are you running? ftw 3 ultra? 373W?
I have ran the FTW3 BIOS and it works fine but for daily use I am using the KFA2 380w BIOS.

If you get basically any new 2080ti wont it most likely have a newer XUSB FW Version that doesn't let you flash older bios like the kfa 380?

The best card is the KPE
XC ultra won't work doing what ?
I just ran the fans on mine and it ran cool enough , even OC it .

I'm wanting to use an Heatkiller IV gpu waterblock in the future. So I have to stick with a reference pcb card. XC Ultra or FE seem like my only good option right now. Thoughts?

My thought is..
Get a kingpin and Bykski water block or just use the cooler it comes with.
Job done.

I would if it wasn't another 600 for the KPE. Its a bit too much for me personally to spend that much to get a minor performance improvement over reference pcb in a heatkiller iv.

My last card was an FTW3 and I changed it for a KPE. Believe me when I say it's a he'll of a lot more than a "minor performance improvement ". You'll buy an ultra and wish you had bought the kingpin. The standard cooling is not bad and easy to upgrade on the KPE. They cost more for a reason.

My card is a newer XUSB version as well, I use a USB programmer to flash older XUSB versions. I do have to agree with the other posters about the KPE, I am in the process of getting a KPE myself.

on a side note wouldn't I be better off finding a Galax KFA2 2080ti oc card since it would already put me at the better 380w bios?
I would love to get a kpe but damn... 1800 dollars bro? Maybe when the price comes down some but ill most likely want the newer series by that time haha..
I suppose it wouldn't be a huge stretch if I were to get the galax card im likely already looking at 1400 plus since ill have to buy it from another country etc.
Galax still hasn't responded about stock coming to the US.

Jeez I cant believe i'm actually considering taking this deal..
If i buy an item with the rebate card and sell it as new on ebay along with my used 2080 card ill be paying about what I would pay for an FE 2080ti.. hmmm
The frames gained over a oc'd 2080ti xc ultra wouldnt be that great though from what I can see in GamersNexus kingpin overclocking vid.
The other thing is that this card wont allow me to put the side glass panel back on until I set up the custom loop Im pretty sure..
I only really game with my machine so I feel like I might be going overboard with a kpe card tbh.
Also.. are there any great comparisons between byskis kp waterblock and evgas? other than evgas costing about 3 times as much?

No reason to replace the stock KP cooler ... if your just gaming ... that 240 AIO works very well Those who want best benchmark to chase records / use chilled water ... they want to change from stock cooler
