Depends on what you consider "today's games".  Warzone will require lower resolution/settings than Minecraft.

I have a 1050ti and can usually get 60 fps in just about any game

You can still game on a 1060 sure, but most games would require lowering settings and/or sacrificing fps. You should also consider that AMD's FidelityFX should come out on the 22nd and it will work on Pascal cards too. We still need to see the quality though.

My friends 1060 still plays fine for e-sports titles like Valorant and Apex at high refresh rates with competitive settings, but bumping up the settings or playing more demanding games would be pushing it for the 1060 in 2021.

I was curious about warzone as well. I’ll actually test it soon. But battlefield worked well for me with a 1060.

I get 40-50fps w mine but it’s very quickly gonna need an upgrade to keep up with most titles.

It should work fine on mid to low settings.

It will work great for 5 year old games or so. I used my 1050Ti up to this year, and the 1060 benches ~50% faster.

The 1060 is still a very capable card. It's the bottom of what is usable in modern games.

Still reliable FPS id say. Not sure about this next generation of Games tho

yes but if you can upgrade at msrp I would do it while the 1060 6gb? model is still worth around 300 to 350.

Definitely capable to some degree but dont have any serious demanding expectations from it. Med to low settings i would say for most titles
