Whenever I play black ops 4, around 30 minutes into it, my pc shuts off and reboots. It only happens when I play bo4. I can run a heaven's/valley benchmark on ultra for an hour each and it won't replicate the crash that happens when I'm playing. Usually when I play anything my gpu + cpu stays between 50-70 so I'm pretty sure it's not those two. I recently bought a B-stock EVGA 750W G3 PSU, and after reading many sites, I'm going to assume that this is the source of my issues. Any advice or help on what I should do would be amazing.

This is my build - i7 8700k + msi 1080ti + EVGA 750W G3 + 32gb ram 2400mhz

It could be the psu, or your gpu since your temps are fine. You should check your 12v rail voltage while under a load. Make sure you use a multimeter to check it too since software readings can be inaccurate.

It seems odd for a power issue to show up in just one game but a full shutdown crash is often power related. What is your system?

I would venture to bet that it’s something else that’s unstable rather than the power supply. Heaven and Valley are much more stressful in terms of power draw, but the constant changes in game environments is more taxing on the parts due to ever changing current draws. I’ve always found my rigs to be perfectly stable in certain tests, but fall apart in games due to the way that they work.

Are you running any overclocks at all?

I'm leaning towards the PSU as well since the temps sound fine. I'll be reaching out via email.
