Hey, I'm from Germany and I'm a big EVGA fan. My question is, is Evga dead? Because it is not really something new, normally Evga is always up to date and the other manufacturers far ahead.
thanks

Your question is very vague. Are you referring to the EVGA website? You will find EVGA products with retailers throughout Europe:

The simple answer is no EVGA is not dead and I don't get how other companies are far ahead since when I read product reviews often I see the system specs list like an EVGA motherboard or EVGA PSU in the test bench.

Good reputation dont die easy i guess. I used to only buy following gpu brands : MSI, Asus, Gigabytes. But had some friends that OC alot that always told me the good things about EVGA what in the end made me buy their card now instead of the others - even tough i had no issues (except on a cheap asus card many years ago) with any of the other brands. And thats only based on reputation, when my friend told me 3-4 years ago how the warranty is still good even if you overclocked i was amazed, ive since been following EVGA on the sideline to se whats up and there se to be no doubt about their quality is some of the best there is. That will not die out so easy, and im from Denmark so word is still spreading i guess

But isnt this just a bad "meme" that is going on ? people going to forums like steam or other places and ask if the game or brand is dead because (who knows)

Yes, all games no longer have public rentable servers...not. That is actually a non-answer why they just don't want the hassle anymore. Most games I play I can rent a public and administrate server for. What he means is EVGA's narrow genre they push of 2 or 3 shooters no longer do it. It's disingenuous to say no games have public servers that can be hosted anymore. It's a bold face lie.

evga has been dead to me ever since they manipulated my registered products to get out of honoring the warranty on my tri-slied  video cards.

You mean the couple of ancient GTX 9800 cards you RMA'ed 6 years ago and EVGA gave you a generous upgrade to a couple of GTX 560 Ti's as replacements, and you come back now years later and demand those GTX 560 Ti's also be replaced even though they had limited lifetime warranty - those the cards you mean? ..or do you mean you trying to RMA a perfectly functional X58 motherboard in the hope of EVGA giving you an X299 or Z390 replacement, after stating on the forums that you know there is absolutely nothing wrong with the X58 motherboard?

FYI, a lifetime warranty by definition means the reasonable life expectancy of the product, not until the end of the universe as we know it.
FYI, a working EVGA GTX 560 Ti can be found on EBay for as little as $10.

Imho, EVGA is well rid of you with that entitled attitude. Good luck with AMD - you're going to need it, because there's no way in hell they'd ever do anything half as generous as EVGA has done for you in the past.

Hey guys you misunderstood me. For me, the X299 DARK is the best motherboard on the market. I just think it's a pity the Evga does not keep it up to date as the other manufacturers do. I have motherboard, graphics card, power supplies, cases and am a fan of Evga super quality. Only the Keyboards Z10 Series is nothing special.
    thanks

"X299X" is a delusion, there is no new chipset , released or unreleased :).
CascadeLake-X are drop-in processors refresh for all existing X299 boards (given BIOS is updated to support CLX microcode/functions).

Additional 4 lanes on CLX-X are NOT connected to anything on X299 Dark, so those cannot be used. Hence PCIe routing/mapping/functionality is exactly same as original 44-lane Skylake-X processors. I don't think it's big enough deal to warrant board design change and revalidation cycle, and further confusion for owners who would need to know which board "version" is it to use those extra 4 lanes.

Hardened security from CLX also fully supported on X299 Dark with new BIOSes, as it's processor feature, not the motherboards.

    other manufacturers far ahead.

It is a pity for sure, other manufacturers have conquered the solar system while evga has still long ways to go, currently only offering 20 series rtx cards that barely run rdr2.
