Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question. Does anyone know why one of my internal storage drives has an "Open AutoPlay..." option in the context menu?

Only the "E" drive has the option and I've checked the bios and hot-swapping isn't enabled.

Open the windows control panel, and search the control panel for autoplay. Select autoplay. Scroll down the autoplay menu until you find the reset all defaults button. Press the reset all defaults button, and then press the save button then see if your issue is solved. If it isn't fixed go back to the autoplay menu, and uncheckmark "use autoplay for all media and devices" then press the save button to see if that will fix the issue.

    Hi Sajin,
Unfortunately your suggestion didn't work but thanks anyway.

No problem. What version of windows 10 are you running? Home or Pro? If you're running the pro edition then you could try disabling autoplay in the group policy manger as well.

Thanks, I was aware of that due to searching online for a solution before making this thread. I'd just have to enable Group Policy Manager on Windows 10 Home or edit the registry manually.

P.S. It seems reformatting the drive resolves the issue.
