Intel DP67BG motherboard with EVGA GeForce GTX 770 SC W/ ACX Cooler (Doesn't work?)

Hello people,
 
I just purchased the EVGA GeForce GTX 770 SC W/ ACX Cooler and when I installed my GTX 770 on my Intel motherboard, I can't boot Windows. First my motherboard got a 5A code. 5A = Resetting PATA/SATA bus and all devices. And when that was done (I didn't do anything), I got a black screen with a white 0_ in the right bottom corner.
 
My motherboard already has the newest BIOS (BGP6710J.86A.2209.2012.0717.2302). This BIOS is from 07/17/2012 version 2209.
 
This are my system specs:
Motherboard: Intel DP67BG
CPU: i7-2600
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 SC /W ACX Cooler
RAM: Kingston ValueRAM 8GB DDR3 1333 MHz
PSU: Nexus RX-7000
 
And the GPU is tested on other Intel motherboard chipsets with the newest BIOS (chipsets: P67, Z68 and Z77).
I think my GPU is broken.

    I have the same config as you but I can get into windows.
     
    I cannot see anything between BIOS menu and windows login screen.
     
    I think you should contact support for the updated VGA BIOS.

    Hello people,

    Have you try test other system pc? Try remove card then reset your CMOS BIOS then try insert new card so try test boot up?
    Post us back if still problem

    The card is tested on different Intel motherboards: P67, Z68, Z87 chipset.
     
    Z77 is a mistake.

    I am also waiting on EVGA support to find a solution as I mentioned I have an identical problem.
     
    The only difference is that I can get into windows (win 8 x64) but I cannot see anything between the first BIOS screent with Intel logo and the windows login screen, not splash screen.
     
    The only visible thing is "0_" a the bottom left of the screen.
     
    Any info from support or the elusive C3 BIOS would help us both.

    @EVGATech_JoeyC, how can I send my GPU back to EVGA? I bought it in The Netherlands via a webshop. I think I have to send my GPU back to that webshop (azerty.nl) and that Azerty sends it back to EVGA.

    I send my EVGA GeForce GTX 770 SC ACX back to the webshop where I purchased it.

    I would recommend working with the EU support agent who recently emailed you. Exchanging the video card at the shop will most likely result with the same issue. Doing a RMA directly with EVGA will ensure that your video card is update to ensure compatibility with your motherboard.

    I am posting for anyone that maybe visiting this thread to try and find a solution for your motherboard not displaying a post screen properly with your GTX 770 or GTX 780 Graphics card. I can confirm that some motherboards may require a compatibility update for the firmware on the GTX 770 or GTX 780 graphics card. If you should need this update please email support@evga.com with the EVGA part number of the card in question and request the compatibility update. Once your email is received we will email you the update for your card to assist.
