card is a 2080ti xc hybrid , does someone have pictures of what needs to be connected to where and how exactly is this mod supposed to be done, my cable will be arriving soon, and im not entirely sure what header i need to disconnect on the the card, also, where do you thread this wire through ? is there a gap small enough between the two  8 pin connections ? ive head that even lowering to 90 percent pump speed does eliminate the coil whine ?

Same here - was trying to figure out how I should remove only shroud, not radiators or something, from evga hybrid kit installation manual - but still have some questions.
If somebody did that mode with xc or ftw3 and made pictures of that - that would be perfect.

removing the shroud isnt that hard, you just need to unscrew all the screws on the backplate, except those that hold the pump in place, you also need to remove the bracket at the back .

then i understood that you can use this program "ARGUS MONITOR" which always you to control the percentage of a Fan header which is set to DC MODE,

So thats's the point: I guess you don't need to unscrew ALL screws: some of them holding RAM plate or VRM radiators and according to installation manual you screw them first - than screw shroud.
I don't want to unscrew all screws and want to unscrew only shroud screws.

btw: so the pump controlled over voltage only, no PWM? Does it report its rpm?

Installing 4-Pin PWM Connector to 4-Pin Mini GPU Fan Connector to reduce pump noise. 2019/09/14 06:58:31 (permalink)
To reduce coil whine? No. To reduce pump noise.

Coil whine has a specific unrelated meaning.
