Other than a broken LED wire on my bottom shround the kit is extremely well made. Performance is fantastic (30-35*C Idle / 60 to 66*C under full load). Not sure if I can just call EVGA and get a replacement shroud, I don't want to waste an RMA kit and take one from someone just because my LED is stuck on white.

I just finished this 1000D build so please excuse the random wires. Still cleaning it up!

Sweet lookin' build! The kits look great!

I think I'd call eVGA and ask about getting that problem taken care of.

    What were your temps before?

Mine hasn't arrived yet but my idle is about the same, and my loads have never gone above 71c. Stock fan curve and very quiet. So those #s are pretty disappointing to be honest.

My top card would hit 80 to 84*C previously. Bottom would hit the mid 70s. These are big improvements for me! Keep in mind the numbers will not be absolutes for everyone. If you already have great airflow and a low ambient you will see slight improvements. The 1000D has fantastic airflow but has a large internal volume, so it's designed for radiators.

hmm I bought hydro copper instead and went full custom loop and my 2080 ti XC would hit around 65C with full load. it was constantly hitting 85C limit prior to this as well.

I guess its kinda same same.. I was a bit disappointed with 65C but oh well..

You should create your own Thread on this as your Temps are no where near mine with the Hydro Copper Water Block installed.
