Okay, none of those are showing up in the tray.

Click Start, look for "HWiNFO64" click it. Then you'll see its Icon in Systray; right click it and select "Sensors".

After it Opens, scroll down and see if the "Windows Hardware Errors (WHEA)" are reporting still.

Re: Initial Bios Test. What do these numbers mean? 2022/06/18 11:25:22 (permalink)
Okay.  It shows no errors.

As a side note, whenever I start HWinFO64 up,...and Precision X1, for that matter, it does the popup "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?"

After typing this, the Windows Hardware Errors (WHEA) now shows 31,218 errors.

OK cool.

so unless ELEET X1 and or Precision X1 are running in the background and one or both are causing the problem then something else it. It shouldn't be HWiFO64 if when you installed you used all default settings.

In order to check for "Windows Hardware Errors (WHEA)" without HWiFO64 running too, then Event Viewer is the only way. Event viewer is a Windows Utility that can easily be started. But not just yet.

You say everything else seems fine in HWiNFO64?

And like how about your CPU and GPU temperatures?

It seems to be showing CPU and GPU temps.

And yes,....I don't notice any other problems.  But then, there are a LOT of things showing on that screen that I wouldn't know what is normal or not.

As a side note, HWINFO64 is saying a new version is available.

And did you load XMP Profile in BIOS? (Page 50 in manual.)

cool

it can't hurt and it is easy. we have the same speed RAM and you can always do it. U may have and forgot.
But when you said,

"Turn off the 'Memory integrity' toggle to disable VBS on your Windows PC, came upo after starting ELEET X1...."

i don't see anything in MOBO manual so i'm going to search around in my BIOS and see if something's there to disable. It may be something that could fix ur prob.

i get not errors in HWiNFO64, so if mine is already toggled off, (disabled) then all u have to do is the same.

but maybe it is a setting in windows. i think it's the former.

Re: Initial Bios Test. What do these numbers mean? 2022/06/18 12:17:40 (permalink)
I could turn off the Memory integrity, but it seemed like a search of it showed it being used as a Windows security feature that makes it difficult for malicious programs to use low-level drivers to hijack your computer.  So I didn't want to turn that off,...but if it isn't really needed, I can turn it off.

But I'll do a double check on the XMP Profile thing.  brb

Re: Initial Bios Test. What do these numbers mean? 2022/06/18 12:28:34 (permalink)
i think i found it. if it is the solution, mine is already off.

But we can both check status without restarting and going into BIOS.

If what I think it is is, it's off in my BIOS and Windows Status for it should be "Off"  and not "Running" and if yours is "Running", then that ups the odds that it may be the solution. No promises.

So to check status in Windows of it:

--Go to https://beebom.com/how-disable-virtualization-based-security-vbs-windows-11/

--Scroll down to follow the instruction below "Check Virtualization-Based Security (VBS) Status in Windows 11".

I'll do the same now.

Ty Sajin plz monitor us.

i was saving that BIOS bug possibility. i remember seeing it. But i think we both have the same version BIOS. Mine is working great. Maybe he did update his out of box one. Mines still v1.03 out of box. His version needs double confirmation.

I searched for Memory Integrity and it took me to the Core Isoloation under Windows Security.  There is the  "On/Off" for Memory Integrity.

But disabling it didn't fix the WHEA errors.  But yes, it was On before.

You can see the bios version by going into the bios and reading the bios version on the bottom right hand side of the screen.

Cool Sajin TY!

And RAVENEVGA,
Even though it may not have mentioned having to Restart for it to take effect after disabling it; go ahead and Restart now, to be absolute the Errors have not gone away.

So it makes me think that can't be the issue.

The computer runs fine, though.  Which makes all this really odd.

k
add BIOS version to ur sig like i just did.
And the only thing i found so far in my BIOS that might possible be related is:

--Go to Advanced in BIOS.
--SATA Configuration.
--Set "Enable VMD Controller" to Disabled.

Sounds like you may need to get into contact with EVGATech_LeeM to get a beta bios which might resolve your issue… https://forums.evga.com/Profile/2835879/

i agree always agree, with Sajin.

But u may not want to rely on a saved profile. So making Pics of all ur existing BIOS settings and or maybe the manual explains how to make Screen shots easy; is advisable.
