Greetings everyone,

I'm just looking for some ideas/opinions for cooling my EVGA 3080 FTW Ultra. Prior to installing the card in my rig, I never had much of a cooling issue. Now that it has been running for a month or so, I noticed my computer is getting very hot (especially the glass next to the GPU). No other problems, however, I can't seem to think of a solution that will work with my current setup. I currently have a 360mm Rad on top of the case that is cooling my 9700k, on the front I have 2 140mm Corsair fans and I am not 100% sure I can remove them to install the Hybrid cooler for the 3080. If I did remove them to install the EVGA hybrid would that still create an airflow inside of my PC? The TOP fans are intake and well as the FRONT, and the single fan on the rear is exhaust. I can't really think of another solution other than removing the 2 front fans. My case is a Fractal Define (below are images and specs from the manufacturer).

I would make your top rad exhaust to begin with and unfortunately with that case you will have a problem drawing air in the front.  The side slots limit it a lot.  The space at the bottom of the front of the case should accommodate a 120mm/140mm fan as an intake.

As far as replacing the front fans with the hybrid set up, that should not be a problem.

I have a Fractal Meshify S2 with a custom loop.  My set up is 360 rad in front (intake), top 360 rad (exhaust), bottom base front 140mm (intake), rear exhaust is 120/15mm (I had to use a thin 120mm because of the 60mm thick rad in the top).

Hope this gives you some ideas.

remove the glass in the front of the case its only held in place with 2 way tape, then use some screen material in the front this will give you much better air flow and yes make the top radiator exhaust to keep hot out of your case.

I have a fractal define S and the biggest difference in temps was to remove the side panel and leave it like that (more than 10C difference at times). For better airflow, put top exhaust, back exhaust, front intake and some extra bottom intake if you want. You can also remove the front panel but the side-off should give you most of what you want

Mine looks like this and does very well. GPU fans don't even spin in some games, everything is silent and cool)

Lian Li Dynamic 011 or the EVO, or the XL. Look at my mod rigs and the temps I get on my 3080 FTW3 Ultra on CP 2077 on an Ultrawide 1440p display on my Lian Li Dynamic 011.
