Hey guys so I after playing cod I'm actually getting consistent 120-130fps with everything maxed and ray tracing on. This is more than I would have expected. After trying all that it looks great. Also what would you guys suggest for cooling options that dont require much install? I currently have the stock fans that came with the case which is h700i and the fans arent too bad. Check the case out and itll tell you the fans. The fans on the gpu already run 90% at 65c. I'm thinking of getting some corsair fans that provide more airflow but idk if that would be worth it and how much of a boost itll give. These are the ones I'm looking at Corsair ML120 Pro LED, Blue, 120mm Premium Magnetic Levitation Cooling Fan CO-9050043-WW

None of it will make a huge dent unless you completely change the cooling to either AIO or custom loop OR you just want to change the fans for aesthetics.

Ehh.  Is the x62 front mounted or top mounted?   If it's top mounted exhaust you're good.  Front mounted will very significantly restrict air flow into the case.  Having a bottom 3rd fan will help.  Definitely top mount the rad if it isn't now, pretty major difference.

Those magnetic levitation fans look really nice and all, but they are so expensive and they don't move as much air as some fans that are half the price. Like the Corsair Air Series stuff... If you are trying to cut temps on the CPU, you may want to look into deliding your processor. The stock thermal paste Intel uses is pretty bad... Deliding and applying your own thermal paste will cut temps by 10-15C.

My cpu temps arent actually bad it's my gpu temps that im trying to reduce. Right now I have it overclocked to as high as I can because of the temps

You could disassemble the GPU and check the thermal paste application... Sometimes they don't do the best on the thermal paste application. Cleaning it up and reapplying some thermal paste could help with temps... other than that, you will want to look into getting a full coverage water block and add a custom water loop to your set-up... It's very expensive and will have you rethinking the plan and possibly upgrade to a RTX 2080Ti.

haha honestly I just wanted to see if you guys think fans would help at all. I was going to get those magnetic fans because becuase my fans have a max rpm of 1200 while the corsair ones have a 2000rpm so i thought that might help. Are there any fans you guys would suggest? higher rpms are better right? I dont really care about the noise honestly

Noctua A12's and Industrials are great for pressure applications.

You could also consider a G12 kit that would allow you to mount your x62 to your GPU.  But then you'd need another CPU cooler.

Cougar Vortex fans are pretty nice to be honest. I have some Noctua Redux NF-P12's and they are decent, but once they ramp up to the full 1700RPM's they get loud and do not really push a whole lot of air compared to the Cougar Vortex fans I had in the past.

+1 and if its a single fan up top, grab a 120mm AIO for your CPU.  Throwing A12s all around could improve temps.

Btw, what case is this and do you have a image you can share with us of your case and internals?  Have you done cable management?

When I get home ill see if i can post a pic but my cable management isn't too bad and my case is h700i. I just need some fans that'll push more air through the case and take it out just as good.

ya i think im going to have to turn some of my settings down if i want the frames I have in mind. Silly me to think i can run everything on max with ray tracing and get 144fps on 2k with this card. I almost broke my pc updating the bios earlier but i fixed it. Now im on the latest bios, turned off some of the settings in control panel, and fine tuned my gpu and i got an improvement on 3dmark from before

I am having the same issue. I just bought my 2080S ftw3 a few months ago, and barely getting into Warzone. I don't know why I am getting about 60-70 fps on medium settings. I just updated my bios, changed my native resolution to 1080p, and turned XMP on. May i ask, what did you change in your control panel?

Not to speak for them, but it looks like there was a problem with his motherboard BIOS settings (BIOS update?) - the new CPU score compared to the new old is around 40% faster - a HUGE difference. Just saw you edited to say you are at 1080P - that resolution is likely bottlenecked by the CPU, even a very fast/overclocked one. Try increasing anti-aliasing to move the bottleneck over a little more to the GPU.
