I'm struggling with how the EVGA Z590 FTW WIFI motherboard commands a $429.99 price tag?

Not dumping a bunch of money into end of the line products like Z590 or X570. I'm good with the 11600K, not even looking at anymore processors or motherboards until they support DDR5.
 
BTW: The Intel iGPU runs my 4K screen perfectly fine, only thing I was worried about. Now I can render videos without taking any power away from the video card. This is an area AMD needs to improve on and why I switched out the AMD system.

There's also better BIOS support than USB and people have had issues even getting into bios when their computer wouldn't recognize any USB devices, but the PS/2 keyboard will still work.

Hey kram I actually bought the FTW Z590 from r/hardwareswap for $200 shipped. For the price I paid for it, it’s fantastic. But I definitely agree and could see why the price is way too much though if you were buying new.

How many RKL processors can you actually buy and still not be happy?
 
Quantity does NOT equal quality. You cannot just THROW MONEY at it and expect it to work better. 
 
This CPU was only $339 and it ROCKS 5.5Ghz and 5333Mhz ddr4 - 5600Mhz ddr4 - 5866MHz ddr4.

Good for you kram Be Smart! the 11600K does everything the 11900K does (minus 2 threads) at MUCH lower temperatures. 
 
If your work/game apps use less than 16threads 11600K IS the SuperChip -

Price aside, why are ps/2 ports of all things making a comeback? I think I'm a bit out of the loop there.




It could be that people like the fact that you don't have the problem of being limited to about six keys at a time and could press every key on the keyboard at once and get a response. With polling rates of 1000hz though the six keys at once isn't really an issue for most people and a lot of keyboards will roll over the key presses to the next polling of 1ms so it's not that big of an issue. Of course it exists as a delay so some people like PS/2 for gaming since they don't really unplug a keyboard or mouse and thus don't need the plug and play and it's not like people need the USB 3.0 data speeds for a mouse and keyboard.
