I redeemed points on Twitch, still say not eligible?

So I redeemed the 5000 points on twitch this morning, but it is still saying not eligible.  I double and triple checked that my twitch handle is entered correctly and still nothing.
 
Any idea how it takes before it updates and makes you eligible?

    Welp apparently the answer to that question is around 10-12 hours because it just clicked and changed me to elite status.

    elite via twitch points has to be done manually, so there is some lag-time there involved, but glad it worked out well.

    I don't even have twitch... is it worth even going through the process of signing up just to get elite membership here?
