I am all about keeping cookies off my system and beyond that.
Clean and clear after every closing of a browser and system wide before shutdown as I have been doing for well over a decade with every system owned.

Ha yeah. I guess I got that from wikipedia I was reading earlier "Because NoCAPTCHA relies on the use of Google cookies that are at least a few weeks old, reCAPTCHA has become nearly impossible to complete for people who frequently clear their cookies."

That was my thinking for almost a year before I found out that it was caused by Tracking Protection being Enabled in IE 11 and Edge.

I always block trackers and don't have issues with gleam or these security checks. That's using Edge and Brave.
 
The check almost got me this time. It wanted traffic lights, but showed a rail road light in one of the images. Skynet is evolving.

Using it a couple weeks without tracker blocking, it would probably give you a check mark instantly without even needing to choose images. If you see an image challenge, it means that it is suspicious of you.

I chuckled after reading this thread then logging on to the forums to be presented with a new post in nearly every subforum telling people to call a number to get fake IDs.

I googled the number and that same message was pretty much spammed across every forum known to man.

Account was 30 minutes old and had 33 posts or something like that. Captcha didn't captcha him/her.

One of the worse CAPTCHA sites I've ever encountered, with fuzzy, out of focus pictures it's almost impossible to get right first time, second time, third time...…… I understand the need for security but come on EVGA I'm sure you can do better than this.  

First of all, it's a Google API and all sites which use reCAPTCHA are the same.  So, it can't be just this "CAPTCHA site".  Every one you encounter is the same.  ;)
Second of all, if you are given an image challenge, there is something suspicious about your computer usage or you are using a browser/plugins which are causing your usage to appear suspicious.  For most humans, it gives you a check mark right away without even needing to select images or solve any challenges.  With "normal" mouse movements, "normal" network behavior, and "normal" usage history (tracked by Google cookies), it already knows you are a human.  If you use a touchscreen, that can make it harder to determine that you are a human, but you would also need some cookie blocking/tracking protection and/or new browser session to make it not sure about your humanity.

Recrapcha only gives you the checkbox option NORMALLY if you've filled out their test before - but it doesn't have to be on the same web site.
 

reCrapcha does NOTHING to stop spammers.
It MIGHT catch some bots - where the humans running those bots don't get them to the "just need check box" level ahead of time, but it's not going to stop ALL bots, most it just slows down a little.
