One simple reason: Cold War runs like butter on my system
I think warzone has wayyy less buggy and offers better gameplay. But it runs on my machine as if it was a toaster. Anyone agree?

I would pay a pretty penny for COD:MW just to work properly in any fashion. For some reason Battlenet forces the game to run on the second GPU and side monitors instead of the primary GPU and monitor.
I have had nothing but problems with COD:MW since I got it to play with a friend.
I need to try out Black Ops again, to see if it is any better than the last time I tried to play it. The gameplay felt off when I did try it, so maybe it has improved over the last few weeks.

Honestly I still play with friends on warzone but mostly solo on black ops. Black Ops is having a coms bug since the start that has been hell for playing with friends. I can get like 30% better fps on the black ops though with way less dips.

I usually play it on PS but it stumbles so much that it's just unenjoyable

So, after this I jumped into Black Ops Cold War for a few hours and absolutely hate how it feels. The gameplay is sluggish, even running feels slow, and it takes so many unnecessary hits in hardcore to be able to take a player down compared to Modern Warfare.
After playing for two hours, I 100% hope they never change engines over to the other.

Cold War is just a bad game. There really is no saving that piece of garbage. MW 2019 had its issues, but at least it was a pretty decent game. Cold War is REALLY bad. On the surface it looks alright, but once you put some hours into it, you begin to realize just how bad it is. What makes it worse? Activision doesn't care about your feedback. They completely eliminated their forums and won't sell their games on Steam, a place where they would get reviewed by users! Activision is probably worse than EA lately, at least EA still has forums and sells their games where they will be reviewed by their customers.

I don't see the issues with cold war. If you like COD, its COD. If you do not like COD, you will not like it. Pretty standard stuff.

wonder if the new map will cause them to shift to Cold War for mechanics. I have a feeling that it would.
