CURRENT NEW BUILD - MB- ROG RAMPAGE VI EXTREME ENCORE X299, RAM- CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 4 STICKS AT 16GB- CMW32GX4M2C3200C16, STORAGE- INTEL 660P M.2 2280 2TB SSDPEKNW020T8X1,
+SAMSUNG INTERNAL- SSDMZ-76E1T0B/AM, VC- EVGA XC ULTRA GEFORCE RTX 2080 SUPER 08G-PA-3183-KB,
COOLING- CORSIR HYDRO SERIES H100i RGB PLATINUM 120MM PROCESSOR LC-SYSTEM
WAS GOING TO GET A CORE i9-10980XE, BUT AS EVERYONE KNOWS INTEL HAS PUT THE BRAKES ON PRODUCTION
NOT SURE IF I CARE TO WAIT UNTIL INTEL GETS IT TOGETHER. SO LOOKING FOR HELP IN DECIDING ON A INTEL PROCESSOR, AND A DECENT IPS MONITOR THAT WON'T BRAKE THE BANK THAT WILL AGREE WITH THE EVGA 2080 SUPER VIDEO CARD.

For the monitor max res about 3840 x 2160 and the price range could very starting hopfully around $375 up.
For the Intel processor was going to spend $1000 for 10980XE

Why do you need a new processor? What is wrong with your current build?

I built it in 2005 and do a lot of cad work. It is pretty quick but the programsare utilizing more threads things are get a bit slower than i like.

I currently don't have a processor for the new build.
yes I think I'm going to need a G-sync monitor because the 2080 Super is only G-sync compatible.

i9 9900ks . I can clock my one up to 56 and 4.7 cache.
I have a nice asus 27" Gsync 165Hz 1440p
Which I would recommend .
