overall I'm very very happy. Couldn't have imagined a better result. I am using stock bios, no mods, stock air cooler.
I ran FSU 3 times and was able to get into the top 10 and also top 20 in port royal. Of the 7 names above me I recognize all of them from other forums or youtube. All of them are using a combination of shunt mods, asus bios, unlocked bios, watercooling, and exoctic cooling such as techlab.
Since I'm doing everything stock i dont think I can move higher until the new bios from evga but who cares? I won the silicon lottery and im stoked. This is kinda to show everyone the potential of these EVGA cards on a 3090 with 450w bios

Not user selectable. After much complaining about the red lips, EVGA decided to do a running change to black lips. You can see them in the new product photos. But unknown when the change will appear in shipping cards.
But congrats again on the numbers. Curious how did you do the overclock?

woah, i had no idea they did that. Update us on your shipment today! I overclocked using the new px1 listed in the sticked thread up top For benchmarks I went with +190 core and +900 memory. I did +200 core as well without score regression or any issues but at 205 it usually crashes. Most my runs are at 185-190 though as i just got the card and only had so many runs My initial dial in with clocks I used Heaven minimized so i could tinker with px1 in real time. Unfortunately, my card sits by the power limit almost the entire time. I would love a 480 or even 500w bios but even without it im getting great performance

That's a nice score. I'm skimming almost 12K on my 3080 on FireStrike Ultra & 12.7K on Port Royal.
Y'all with your 5.3/5.2 chips, I'm jealous... my 9900K will run 5GHz but I've never been able to get 5.1 or 5.2 to pass stability testing.
Congrats on being top 10 on the single card chart (for now, we know how things go lol)!

much appreciated. The 9900k is no slouch especially at 5Ghz. I have a very average 10900k with a sp of 63 :( but I did the whole delid thing with a direct die mount so my thermals are fantastic. nice scores on the 3080!

Where did you get it from? I've only seen the ultras mentioned as being sold anywhere, I mean I guess a small amount were sold, even if the number is far less than the ultras.
