Yesterday I replaced my triple fan cooler, on my xc3 black, with the hybrid kit and everything is working great besides the VRM fan. Temps look great, but I would still like to get the fan working. Precision does not give me any control over it, only the radiator fans. Ive read some things about the BIOS needing to be flashed but they do not give any hint or direction on where to even start with doing so. Can anyone confirm its the BIOS or that it is something else? If it is the BIOS, a point in the right direction would be awesome.

I would start by updating the bios to the hybrid version.  They are all in the first post of this thread.  Expand the spoiler tags.  I'd link the specific one, but you didn't say which card you have.  All you have to do is run the executable and reboot.

Both the radiator and VRM fan should show up in X1.  If updating the bios doesn't work, you could also try running DDU and reinstalling drivers.

I assume you did plug in the correct plugs on the hybrid when you assembled it?

In Presision Fan 2 is the VRM fan on the Hybrid kit. By default the fan wont spin until the core hits 50c or so. You should be able to control this manually or create a fan curve. Make sure the wires are not touching the fan some of them can get in the way the when screwing the shroud down.
