Forgive my ignorance :) but...

How will the 3080 Hybrid water-cooled versions work?

Like the XC3 Ultra Hybrid Gaming model. I know the card plugs into the usual slot, but where do those attached fans go in my PC's case?

Depends on the case.  It's a 240mm radiator so most people will be top mounting it.  I know I will be, tubing won't be long enough for me to front mount the thing.

Exactly the same as an AIO for the CPU.  People with smaller cases are basically outta luck unless you can mount your GPU radiator up top & CPU radiator on the front, assuming you have a Hybrid card & AIO CPU unit.

This could be an example, but it really depends on the case you are using.

I would recommend putting at the top or front of your case. Don't put it at the bottom. Check this video for more info.

I would flip the radiator upside out so no air bubbles get trapped towards the top of the radiator. I have a Hybrid on my eVga 2080Ti in another system and it rarely sees 60C even on full load when gaming on my 4K monitor with radiator upside down. I have 2 fans mounted on the radiator in a push/pull configuration with a watercooled processor with only 2 fans pulling air inside the case.

With the 3080/3090 Hybrid having a 240mm radiator, a case like that would have no choice but to top mount the rad for the GPU.

I already seen it and have one on notification as soon as it was available. I am also getting a bigger case next when I am on vacation after I get off work Wednesday morning and don't have to come back until the 6th of December.

That 1080 pic is rough. I almost killed my 1080Ti with that rad placement. Quick lesson I learned years ago.

Now that I think about, I'm kinda concerned about the airflow in my case in that I already have a CPU rad at the top. I'm worried that putting a GPU rad in the front is going to kill the intake going into my case for the other components. The advice I've heard is to just make all the rads intakes but having only one exhaust fan at the back is worrisome.

It's a 240mm radiator for the 3080 Hybrids btw, not 120mm, so placement may be a challenge for some if you already have a CPU AiO.

I have space for a 360mm rad in the front but the problem/concern for me is that I wanted to maintain a dedicated 120mm fan for intake while putting the hybrid in the front at the same time. So have 3 "intake" fans in the front. I think I should be able to do it, hopefully, and then keep the CPU rad as exhaust along with the back fan being exhaust as well.

I wish there was a way of easily measuring airflow and air pressure in my case.

    Have the same question:

At the top I have a 3x120 for the CPU, pushes put.

how do I mount the 2x120?? I only have space in the front but if i set it as intake ... that means will push the hot air in the case, toward the GPU.

How will that influence the flow and the cooling???

I'd recommend putting the CPU AIO as intake and the GPU AIO as exhaust...would you rather dump 350-450w of heat from the GPU into your case as intake or the 105-125w of heat as intake from your CPU? Its an obvious choice once your break it down like that, especially in a smaler case.

OK, i need to change my case.

What case is cheap and supports 2x120 AIO up and 2x120 AIO front (or back)??
