I have a EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2, and on EVGA Precision X, I can control both fans- power and gpu. However, Precision X is unstable for me. I prefer MSI Afterburner. In AB, when I turn the fan speed to high speeds (90% - 100%) only one fan spins while the other stays idle. Is there anyway I can control this? Or will it automatically turn on? If anyone could help, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Using MSI Afterburner, the other fan will run at speeds controlled be the card's firmware and is not controllable by Afterburner. The fan is operating on a separate fan controller and the Afterburner developer is not interested in adding EVGA's non-standard additional fan controller design into the Afterburner software.

You could get around that with afterburner by setting a custom fan curve in your BIOS and re-flashing the BIOS. Still would be no way to adjust it in Afterburner though and would still be locked to what you set in the BIOS.

Never mind, just realized 1080 series, cannot edit BIOS yet. No tools for doing so that get around the security certs of the BIOS to allow editing right now. Duh.

Afterburner can only control 1 fan at the moment. I read in other posts that the developer that made it is working on a way to control more fans, but I have no first-hand info.
If you are having problems with PXOC, I can only suggest you try the newest version (link to the download page). Latest version at the time of this post is 16.1.13.

Undervolting isn't possible, but you can lower the power target and achieve basically the same effect.
