How to initiate usb 2.0 mode?

I tried plugging it in but nothing but the audio worked, is there a specific thing i have to do for usb 2.0 to work? The quick guide says its indicated by yellow lights but doesn't specify if there's a way to switch to that.

    I cant even get my pass through or video capture to work in obs at all.,..

    In OBS make sure you audio output mode is set to XR1.
