Drove about an hour and a half to a Micro Center to grab a 5900x. Walked through the video card area just to see, and there was nothing there other than a few of the low end GT cards.

Same here, no MC near me within 300 miles. I wouldn't ask for a friend to wait in line to pick it up... I will lose a friend if I do.

i am in the group for the microcenter houston but all the info they share there seem to be nonsense. I've walked to the line once and didn't get anything I wanted. 3080 or 3090. so not gonna bother agian

Had to ask a friend to get a CPU for me from the Houston MC. Not sure why but stock seems to be better at the Houston branch

Thanks for the tip, Too bad I'm kinda far from a microcenter or I'd 100% do this. So so so so tired of the costs online almost makes you want to pick up a controller... almost.

You are lucky with MicroCentre in US, nearest equivalent we have in UK is Curry's but they have no physical stock in store, and website gets botted constantly...

The closest Micro Center is an hour and a half away from where I'm located. From what I've been told by an employee, people line up the night before. There's no way I can compete with that. I'm not mad or salty about it. It is what it is. Hopefully, I can make a trip down the road and possibly be successful

Also, a friend of mine attempted to go to a Micro Center three hours before opening. A Massive line was waiting for them. Suffice to say, they had no luck.

I wish microcenter would come to Florida, preferably in the Tampa area, but I would be willing to drive to it if it was anywhere in the state. There is no way that it wouldn't be profitable to expand into the 3rd biggest state in the US
