When you are an elite member - can you purchase the card directely from EVGA or via a distributor - how does it work?
And how is this in Europe? I am asking because a few weeks ago I found out (but can't reproduce) that on the European sites of EVGA there are no "Hydro Copper" products available ;-)

Price policy of EVGA: In the webshop there are prices underneath the cards - in $. However when I go to the suggested distributors (or at least some of them) I am seeing the same card for two times the price of the EVA webshop?! Is this because I am from Europe?

I am from Europe, Germany - are there any benefits if I join as elite member (e.g. on purchasing a card) or are the "queues for ordering" just maintained for US?

Not necessarily. Some are most likely queueing up for one SKU which is a mistake which can take much longer getting a GPU in hands. Queueing up for several SKUs is a much better strategy than one SKU but at this point, it would take a while either way but doesn't hurt to try. Some SKUs will move faster than others.

SKU is short for stock-keeping unit. So for example, each GPU you see in the store, has it's own specific SKU # for that product line. It also helps with keeping track of stock, etc.

Well, it looks like the only way for me to qualify for elite status is via Twitch viewing (which is awesome,...don't get me wrong) but as a first time PC builder in the midst of a GPU shortage, I don't want to lay out cash for all the other parts and sit and wait for a GPU as those parts potentially become one generation obsolete (see AMD chaning sockets next get CPUs it seems). I know the alternative is 100 posts in here, but I also don't want to be that guy that spams forums simply for elite status. I guess if I get there, I get there. Fingers crossed. See you all on the Twitch stream.

Spoiler alert...They aren't. This forum is simply a huge spam fest now. Thanks EVGA! The 100 post thing is ridiculous. Did they really think people would be able to make 100 USEFUL posts? That takes a long time and a desire to hang out on this forum and help people or discuss relevant things. The EVGA forum is a shadow of it's former self due to people trying to get 100 posts. Elite should be only if you bought an EVGA product at some point. And to anyone who says you can't buy an EVGA product right now to register...well then you should be out of luck. It should be a reward for those of us who have been past customers. If have never purchased from them before you are not a loyal customer, by definition. No offense.

I dont think Elite necessarily gets you better odds. It just lets you queue a day earlier. It still doesn't guarantee you will get anything before 2022.
