Looking at the Classified that just arrived and wonder how do you clean the fans in the heatsink? The plastic shield has two screws on the side but won't move. I hope there are not more screws in the MB that are not accessible? No manual yet so I hope some can answer here.

Well on closer inspection:  The plastic cover over the fans is not easily removable. These seemed to be 30mm fans that will need cleaning every view weeks. However, looks like you have to pull apart the PC, pull the MB and remove the shield on the backside of the MB and possibly replace the thermal pads on the back shield? Poor design EVGA, poor design. I certainly will mod that. The thermal pads on the back are brilliant on the other hand.

Look in the accessory box and you find a small USB stick which has the manual located right on it. Just read the Quick guide that was supplied as it says where it is on the first page of the guide.

I've seen a couple people making this statement and thought it was odd an electronic version wasn't available. But are they really shipping motherboards without a manual too?

The Manual is on the USB stick detailed and thorough. Annoying that none of the plastic shields or chipset heat sink can be removed without removing the backplate. Screws from the back and front. To clean the fans or change the battery one needs to take apart the entire board. The plastic shield over VRM cooling is also holding the I/O shield so you can't just remove it as is. This could be done much more thoughtful. Now I have to mod all that stuff, although that is fun.

Last EVGA board I have with a manual was X299 Dark, no board I've gotten since then has come with one (Z390 and newer).

EVGA usually supply the manual on a USB stick with the board now, but you can also grab the Z690 Classy manual here: (link)
