I registered for Step Up on 11/13 from 3070 XC3 >3080 FTW Ultra I figure it'll be six months(ish) but this should do for Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K Ultra with RT DLSS until then.

9/24 step up registration.  No luck yet for me.

Seems like it's going much faster than I thought.

That doesn't make sense unless they're specifically allocating to you before others because you're trading in a 3080?
 
My 2070 super registration was 9/24 for a ftw3 no luck yet.

Just got a 3070 FTW3 and want to do a Step up to a 3080.  If I enter the queue, and a 3080Ti gets released, I can cancel the 3080 step up, and rea-apply for the 3080Ti, as long as it's still within the original 90 days correct?
 
If I step up to a 3080, and it comes available before the 90 days are over, can I decline it and re-enter the queue?  My goal is to wait the 90 days to see if a Ti is announced, but in the event it's not it'd be nice to already be in the queue for a 3080, in case it's really a 3+ moth wait.

I don't feel so bad now. Registered 9/21 for 2080 to 3080. No response on step 2 yet...

My plan is to register for step up at the last possible minute in a couple weeks, and hope I'm so far behind in the queue that they stop making 3080s and I get a 3080ti lol.

Am I able to step up to a 3080 FTW from a XC3 3080? Just received my 3080 from Best Buy and now I am interested in starting the Step Up for the FTW 3 Ultra. From reading the Step Up page I am under the understanding that I enter the Step Up queue after I send my card in? Is there a different que for Step Up from a 3080 card than there is a 20 series? Any helpful tips and information is appreciated. Thank you! 

I emailed asking if I could do the same thing, but to a 3080 FTW from a 3080 XC3 ULTRA HYBRID and was told that I could. AFAIK, you'll register your card, ideally within 14 days, then enter the step up queue and wait until it's your turn before sending your card in for the swap.

Just got to step 2 today 3/18/21. Been in queue since release day. Countless calls and emails.

WHAT???  Just because there is a microchip shortage I should be satisfied that I'm in "Q" with a multibillion dollar company who's CEO's live on yachts and fly private jets to destinations I can only dream of???!!!! STFU! All I want is my damn gpu! please...NO! Don't BEG corporations for favor by blogging bs... Have some pride friend.
