So I get a message from Mr.Bateham stating "I am writing to you in regards to the photo being used for your forum avatar on the EVGA forums. It has been removed due to a violation of the terms of service associated with the EVGA forums. Please refrain from posting any pornographic material on the forums in any way. Uploading the photo again will result in a temporary ban from the EVGA forums."

I find it appalling that someone would accuse me of posting something pornograhic at all.

Ive read the terms and service and would never do anything that would violate it.

I find it funny I get accused of something that isnt even anywhere close to true yet this person has a GrimReaper smoking pot. https://forums.evga.com/Profile/2969779/

Good job EVGA

Am I getting singled out because of my post here stating about EVGA Shady business practices which I was joking about?

This type of slanderous accusation cannot be acceptable from EVGA as a whole or am I living in some sort of twilight zone where you leave one possibly negative comment about this company and they try to silence you. I will never look at EVGA in the same light due to this mistake on their part or may I say Adams part.

This has nothing to do with your post, and the image is still set as your profile.

Did you reload the image?

I emailed Adam and he must have seen the error of his ways.  I wish to cause no trouble and I find it astonishing that I am being accused of such slanderous accusations without any factual proof

Normally the offending image is removed when the notice is sent out. The images can be flagged for a multitude of reasons from being pronogaphic images, implied acts, profanity even hidden or even well known acronyms can be removed. Mostly we want people to feel welcome to share thoughts and ideas without feeling offended and an avatar picture can offend.

I fully agree wholeheartedly with that statement. Someone must have flagged it by mistake then, sorry for getting so upset but ive never been accused in any manner before.

What would you say the image is? It looks to be a bent over females rear end painted... which is probably why it is flagged.

Also, how would it be slander? What damage does changing your profile picture do?

I see someone escaped from the Reddit lunatic asylum. False outrage is so 2018.

Posted an avatar that was not appropriate for the forums.  was asked to remove it.  didn't.  so it was removed and he reposted it three times.  so, he's off the forum for a bit.  He has the opportunity to return though.  I evaluated the photo and it was in very poor taste.
